Self-Defense Mindset and Awareness

Course Description: Self-Defense Mindset and Awareness is the ability to identify, process, and comprehend the critical elements of information about what is happening to you with regards to your daily goals. Situation awareness involves being aware of what is happening in the vicinity, in order to understand how information, events, and one's own actions will impact goals and objectives, both immediately and in the near future. Lacking or inadequate situation awareness has been identified as one of the primary factors in accidents attributed to human error. Thus, situation awareness is especially important in work domains where the information flow can be quite high and poor decisions may lead to serious consequences. This 2 hour presentation focuses on how a non-sworn citizen (not a soldier or a police officer) can comfortably integrate awareness and the proper mindset into daily life. Keep yourself and your loved ones safe without becoming paranoid or afraid. This course will cover intuitive awareness strategy, criminal behavior, attack avoidance, survival motivation, overcoming erroneous beliefs, preventing cognitive dissonance, physiological awareness in high stress situations, basic self-defense strategy.

Tactical Force-on-Force for Home Defense

Course Description: Regardless if you are a civilian or police officer, if you carry a weapon for protection and you want to know how to survive a gunfight, then this course is definitely for you. This intensive 8-hour course allows shooters to train in live-action, reality-based scenarios using milsim quality Airsoft firearms. This realistic tactical training is engineered for safety and realism and the shooter will learn to function correctly under emotional, physical and mental pressure. Our tactical force-on-force course teaches the student how to survive a violent encounter in your home and to develop and adopt the situational awareness mindset while at home in situations such as a burglary, home invasion, or other violent encounter. Through controlled training scenarios, involving role players acting as a perpetrator(s), shooters will develop the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient home defense for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding citizen's right to self-defense.

Advanced Handcuffing Techniques

Course Description: Handcuffing a detained person, whether a prisoner or just for officer safety is extremely common and necessary however proper training is lacking and severely underutilized. This class will teach the police officer, security officer, or military personal the proper way to handcuff to prevent injury to the detained person to limit the officers and departments liability and exposure. Additionally with this class being advanced, the student will learn ways that handcuffs can be used not only as a method of detention but as a self defense weapon, compliance tool, and also go into restraint positions, firing while securing a handcuffed person, and various self defense strategies. This class is taught by law enforcement SWAT Operators and Security Contractors.

Advanced Training Courses

Narcotics Reverse-Sting Operations

Course Description: The 16 Course is designed specifically for training Law Enforcement Narcotics Units that will be conducting Reverse-Sting Operations. The class will focus on Operational Planning, Threat Assessments, Operations of the Confidential Informant, Target Selection, Arrest Team Responsibilities, Perimeter Unit Responsibilities, Monitoring and Recording Devices, Supervisor Responsibilities, Managing Mass Arrests, Report Writing, Handling of Drugs and Money. After completion of this course the student will have the tools necessary to initiate, manage, and supervise a narcotics Reverse-Sting Operation. This class is taught by municipal law enforcement narcotics detectives as well as Federal DEA Agents.

Managing Confidential Informants

Course Description: This 24 hour course is designed specifically for training sworn Law Enforcement officers, detectives, and supervisors that will be conducting covert operations involving the use of Confidential Informants. The students will learn how to cultivate, document, utilize, and manage the Confidential Informant during their use in covert and/or undercover criminal investigations. The class will focus on Florida State Statute 915.28, also known as “Rachel’s Law”, and the legal requirements that are placed on the law enforcement agency in order to comply with the Confidential Informant Statute. After completion of the course the student will have the tools necessary to properly deal with CI Usage. The last day will be workshop involving the practical applications of the lessons learned in the classroom.  Taught by municipal law enforcement detectives as well as retired DEA Agents.

Vehicle Assaults

Course Description: The 8 Course is designed specifically for training Law Enforcement, Military, and Security Contractor units that will be conducting High-Risk take down Operations. The class will focus on Operational Planning, Threat Assessments, Target Evaluation and Take Down Location Selection, Arrest Team Responsibilities, Perimeter Unit Responsibilities, Supervisor Responsibilities, Handling of Confidential Informant or Undercover Officer, Report Writing, Handling of Evidence. After completion of this course the student will have the tools necessary to initiate, manage, and supervise a a Vehicle Assault Operation. This class is taught by municipal law enforcement SWAT Operators, Federal DEA Agents, and private Security Contractors.

Narcotics Buy-Bust Operations

Course Description:  This 16 Course is designed specifically for training Law Enforcement Narcotics Units and other units that will be conducting Buy-Bust Operations. This course will also define each law enforcement participant and cover the role of the undercover officer and confidential informant, as well as controlling and managing the informant.  Additionally, various other related subjects will be presented, such as threat assessments, undercover phone call management, technical surveillance equipment for monitoring and recording, preparing an operational plan,  arrest of foreign nationals, the handling and processing of drugs, money, and weapons, and the take-down/arrests of targets of investigations, to include practical exercises.  After completion of this course the student will have the tools necessary to initiate, manage, and supervise a narcotics buy-bust operation. This class is taught by municipal law enforcement narcotics detectives as well as Federal DEA Agents.
